Mike is a Chicagoland based photographer whose introduction to image making began in a black and white college darkroom. After working as a commercial and architectural photographer for several years, Mike went back to university and received a degree in architecture leading to work in facility planning and teaching architectural planning and design. Today Mike’s work is less controlled than his commercial days and is more focused on observing environments, seeing connections and capturing the details. He finds processing, editing and manipulating digital files just as satisfying as long evenings spent in the darkroom.
